The goats on the roof at Hershberger's Farm & Bakery will certainly make you stop your car and say "what in the world are those goats doing on the roof?" Then you will find yourself trying to get the feed up to the wooden cat walk on a conveyor belt. Then It becomes a contest to see if you can get it all the way to the top before the goats actually start pulling the belt themselves. It becomes a contest between you and the goats. It is cheap family fun. There are many other unusual sights to see at Hershberger's like Big Ben, the biggest and tallest Belgian Draft Horse in the world, weighing in at over 3006 pounds. But be sure not to miss Shorty, the miniature horse. Pony rides for the kids are also available. Daniel offers a free petting zoo with sheep, small pigs and numerous other animals. But that’s life at Daniel Hershberger’s farm, a place for kids of all ages to get up close and personal with farm animals big and small. And don't forget the bakery, where they are famous for their fry pies in just about every flavor imaginable or take home some of  their cinnamon rolls. Absolutely scrumptious. For those of us trying to eat some of the healthier choices, you will enjoy their wide selection of fruits, nuts, canned goods, jams and jellies, preserves, mustards, granola and snack foods. Either way, you will not go away empty handed. Be sure to visit their home decor department with beautiful hanging baskets, mums, outdoor patio furniture, etc.
