Superman: From Cleveland to Krypton

Superman’s fictional home may be Krypton, but the “Man of Steel” was actually born in Cleveland, Ohio when Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster created Superman in Cleveland’s Glenville neighborhood in 1933. The exhibition includes a prototype of the Superman statue that is planned for placement near the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, a collection of Superman’s appearances in movies and on television as well as comics, games, art and other memorabilia.
